Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Elevate Digitals collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet our obligations under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect and why

We do not collect or store your card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Paystack on their own systems. Our server only receives a transaction reference, the amount, the payment status, and the email address you gave Paystack, which we use to confirm your payment is genuine.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking pixels. Your language and currency preferences are held in your browser for the duration of your visit only.
Who else processes your information
We use third-party operators to run parts of this site. Each processes your information only to provide their service to us:
- Formspree — receives and forwards contact form submissions.
- Paystack — processes card payments and stores the payment record.
- Vercel — hosts the website and generates server logs.
- Google Fonts — serves the site's typefaces; your IP address is visible to Google when fonts load.
Some of these providers operate outside South Africa, which means your information may be processed in another country. We only use providers that offer protections comparable to POPIA.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become projects: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records and project correspondence: for the duration of the project and 5 years afterwards.
- Payment and invoice records: 5 years, as required by South African tax law.
- Server logs: retained by our hosting provider on their standard schedule.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and get a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong, misleading, or out of date
- Delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep
- Object to us using your information for a particular purpose
Email elevatedigitalwebs@gmail.com with your request and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
Keeping your information safe
The site is served over HTTPS. Payment verification happens server-side so that payment credentials are never exposed in your browser. Access to enquiry and client records is limited to Elevate Digitals.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
